WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange issued a resounding defense of WikiLeaks’ recent publications about the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

Writing at a time when the American mainstream media are widely criticized in polls for biased reporting, Assange said WikiLeaks, which he described as “principled, independent and free” is unbiased.

” … if the press obeys considerations above informing the public, we are no longer talking about a free press, and we are no longer talking about an informed public,” he said.
